Consignment
What pieces do you take on consignment?
We need to be particular and accept only what we think has a chance of selling. We are only 3 people running an online business so we cannot accept everything and will not give you false hope when we know that something is probably not going to sell with us. We are not a storefront so consider consigning to a storefront if we all agree that our online business is not the best place for your item to move.
While we understand the desire to move the piece the better question for you to contemplate is are you willing to lower the amount that you would get? If your item sells, we will reach out to you but if someone simply asks about your piece, we are not going to tell you that as it could get your hopes up only to be a letdown. Sometimes a piece gets tons of attention and does not sell so imagine if we were to tell someone, yes your item is getting a lot of attention, and they are anticipating the sale of it and then it doesn't happen?
You do not need to reach out to us about the piece after it has arrived unless you desire to lower the price. In that case we need to adjust the consignment form and have you re-sign it.
100% unpredictable. If it does not sell in one year, we must send it back to you. Most people want to make their own ring. In some scenarios, you have a higher chance of selling if your diamond is removed from the ring, in other scenarios, it would be better if it stays in the ring. We will give you our honest professional opinion. If you end up sending the whole ring to us, we highly suggest that you are open to selling the center stone loose as to not limit people.
Consignments are not included in special sales. We must treat all consignment pieces equally which means we can't promote one over the other. We agree to post it once on our social media channels when it arrives. This includes YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. We do not re-post it again however you are free to re-post it on your social media as much as you would like.
Keep in mind that we do not charge a consignment fee like most websites do for the time that they put into posting it.
If you are going to sell it through another website, you cannot use the media that we have provided.
